Tyson Foods plans to launch its own plant-based meat substitutes this summer.
Tyson previuosly sold its stake in Beyond Meat before the plant-based meat producer went public last Thursday in the best initial public offering of the year.
Euromonitor International data estimate the U.S. meat substitute market is worth about $1.4 billion.
