Tyson Foods Inc. announced yesterday it will develop a $320 million poultry plant near Kansas City.
The complex near Tonganoxie, Kansas, would employ 1,600 people when it begins production in mid-2019.
The plant will have the capability of processing up to 1.25 million birds weekly.
