Tyson Foods Inc. of Springdale has targeted China and Thailand for new plants and the Netherlands for a facility expansion.
Officials say they aim to increase international production capabilities, specifically for its Raised & Rooted plant-based protein product line in Europe.
The company's plans will add more than 100,000 metric tons of fully cooked poultry capacity and create nearly 2,000 jobs, officials say.
