Gov. Mike Parson on Friday announced the appointment of two new local judges.
Derek Ankrom, of Springfield, has been named circuit judge for the 31st Judicial Circuit in Greene County, and Nathan Taylor, of Strafford, was appointed as associate circuit judge, according to a news release.
Ankrom and Taylor succeed Michael Cordonnier and Kaiti Greenwade, respectively. Cordonnier retired, and Greenwade earlier this summer was promoted to circuit judge.
Ankrom is joining the 31st Judicial Circuit from Spencer Fane LLP, where he's currently a partner, according to the release. Taylor is currently a partner at Taylor, Stafford, Clithero & Harris LLP.
Moseley’s Discount Office Products was purchased; Side Chick opened in Branson; and the Springfield franchise store of NoBaked Cookie Dough changed ownership.
