Two locals named administrative law judges

Posted online
Two of the Missouri Department of Labor and Industrial Relations’ 14 newly appointed administrative law judges hail from the Springfield area.

Beginning Jan. 1, L. Timothy Wilson, of Nixa, and David L. Zerrer, of Springfield, will serve as judges in workers’ compensation injury disputes.

Both Wilson and Zerrer are legal advisers with the Division of Workers’ Compensation.

Wilson, who has more than 13 years of experience in workers’ compensation cases, holds a bachelor’s degree in history and government from Evangel University and a Juris Doctor from George Mason University in Virginia.

Zerrer, who has practiced law for more than 30 years, holds a bachelor’s degree in political science from University of Missouri-St. Louis and a Juris Doctor from University of Missouri-Columbia. Zerrer was formerly an associate administrative law judge.

Wilson and Zerrer will serve from the Division of Workers’ Compensation Springfield adjudication office, one of eight such offices statewide. Including Chief Administrative Law Judge Victorine Mahon, there are four judges in the Springfield office.
