Two federal judges on Friday issued orders blocking the Trump administration from cutting off access to the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program, or SNAP.
President Donald Trump said in a social media post on Friday that he needed clarification about how to legally distribute SNAP benefits.
There may be some delay in receiving SNAP benefits for recipients, experts say. The program had been slated to shut down starting in November due to the ongoing federal government shutdown.
