Twitter threatens lawsuit against Meta’s Threads app

Twitter threatened to file a trade secrets lawsuit over Meta's newly launched Threads app.

An attorney for Twitter accused Meta of engaging in “systemic, willful and unlawful misappropriation of Twitter’s trade secrets and other intellectual property."

Meta's Mark Zuckerberg said more than 30 million people signed up for Threads, a Twitter competitor, in less than 24 hours after it debuted.
