Twitter suspended accounts operated by far-right group Britain First and its leaders Jayda Fransen and Paul Golding.
The move comes weeks after President Donald Trump retweeted posts from Fransen's personal account. According to Al Jazeera, the posts were anti-Muslim in nature.
Twitter officials cited the social media network's updated policy to combat "hateful conduct and abuse" on the platform.
