Twitter sued for not paying rent

California Property Trust, the owner of the building that houses Twitter's headquarters, filed suit against the company for allegedly not paying rent.

In the lawsuit, California Property Trust alleges Twitter failed to comply with an order to pay $136,250 in rent.

The company had notified Twitter that it would default on its lease, according to the complaint.
