Twitter officials say the company posted record revenue in the fourth quarter.
The social media company reported revenue of $1.3 billion, a 28% increase from a year earlier.
It was "an extraordinary year" for the platform, according to CEO Jack Dorsey.
"We're a platform that is obviously much larger than any one topic or any one account," he said.
