Twitter loses 2M users in 4Q

Twitter reported yesterday it lost 2 million users in the fourth quarter.

The news caused shares to fall as much as 12 percent in after-hours trading.

The social media service had 305 million active users at the end of 2015. Comparatively, Facebook has 1.6 billion, Google has eight products with over 1 billion apiece and Instagram has 400 million.
