Twitter is launching a local weather service that includes a paid subscription component.
Climate journalist Eric Holthaus and 18 local meteorologists are slated to produce a mix of free and paid content on weather events for Twitter users. The service is debuting in 15 North American cities and the Dominican Republic.
The weather service, dubbed Tomorrow, will allow paid users to ask meteorologists an unlimited number of questions with a guaranteed response.
