Twitter explores subscription option

Twitter is considering whether to offer a premium version of its popular Tweetdeck interface.

Twitter is conducting a survey "to assess the interest in a new, more enhanced version of Tweetdeck," spokeswoman Brielle Villablanca said in a statement on Thursday.

The potential subscription model would be geared toward professionals.
