Twitter acquires AI startup Magic Pony for $150M

Twitter has purchased London-based artificial intelligence startup Magic Pony Technology for a reported $150 million.

The company founded in 2014 uses machine learning to build improved systems for visual processing.

Among its uses, Magic Pony can restore lost information to blurry pictures or build new visuals from scratch.
