Dallas-based sports bar and restaurant chain Twin Peaks is set to make its Queen City debut.
The eatery is scheduled to open in mid-2023 at the former Zio's Italian Kitchen, 1249 E. Kingsley St., said Caleb Moreno, owner and president of Moreno Group Commercial Realty.
Tyler Ray, adviser with Moreno Group, represented Twin Peaks corporate in the deal to purchase the building, said Moreno. The property had been listed at $1.8 million, he said, declining to disclose the purchase price because of a nondisclosure agreement.
Twin Peaks, known for servers who wear tie-front crop tops and Daisy Dukes shorts, has a menu that includes burgers, sandwiches, wings and tacos, according to its website.
Twin Peaks has more than 90 restaurants listed on its website, including locations in the Kansas City and St. Louis areas.
Multiple requests for comment to corporate officials were not returned as building permits for Twin Peaks began to show up in public records with the city of Springfield in recent months.
