Englewood, Colorado-based TTEC Holdings Inc. (Nasdaq: TTEC) is seeking 300 employees to join its ranks in Springfield.
Formerly known as TeleTech, the customer service outsourcing company is hosting a Feb. 5 hiring event at its local call center, 1720 E. Primrose St., according to a news release.
The new hires would join more than 1,050 employees currently working in Springfield, said TTEC spokeswoman Olivia Griner. With 1,002 employees as of July 9, 2018, TTEC ranked 12th on Springfield Business Journal’s list of the largest local employers last year.
During the job event starting at 9 a.m. next week, most potential employees applying for the open customer service representative and sales positions would be interviewed on-site and offered jobs that day, according to the release.
TTEC also was among more than 40 employers that participated in a Jan. 22 job fair hosted by the Missouri Job Center.
The company employs more than 49,700 workers globally, according to the release. It hasn’t yet reported its fourth-quarter and full-year earnings.
TTEC shares were trading at $32.77 as of 8:38 a.m., compared with a 52-week range of $23.01 to $40.40.
