Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Co. is planning a $100 billion U.S. investment, according to an announcement from the Trump administration.
The investment would go toward building out plants over the next four years.
“The most powerful AI chips in the world will be made right here in America,” President Donald Trump said. “It will be a big percentage of the chips made by this company.”
