Trump's pick to head FDIC withdraws

President Donald Trump's pick to lead the Federal Deposit Insurance Corp. has withdrawn his name from consideration.

James Clinger was nominated for the post in June.

He becomes the eighth Trump nominee to withdraw from consideration for a top post in the administration.
