Labor leaders are fleeing President Donald Trump's manufacturing council.
AFL-CIO President Richard Trumka announced he and Thea Lee, the company's deputy chief of staff who also sat on the panel, were stepping down.
“We cannot sit on a council for a president who tolerates bigotry and domestic terrorism,” Trumka said in a statement.
Scott Paul, president of the Alliance for American Manufacturing, said he would resign earlier in the day.
They join executives from Merck, Under Armour and Intel who abandoned the 28-member group Monday.
