Trump Tower climber gets millions of views

A climber using giant suction cups to scale the side of Trump Tower yesterday caught media attention and that of millions of viewers.

The scale of the 58-story tower in New York City was aired live by CNN, MSNBC, and Fox News, as well as online by Time, BuzzFeed News, and New York's ABC 7.

CNN's broadcast on Facebook Live was watched by more than 4.5 million viewers.

The climber, whose reason for climbing the building and identity was not immediately known, started his ascent around 4 p.m.

Police tried to stop him and eventually pulled him in around 6:30 p.m.
