President Donald Trump returned to Missouri for the third time as president yesterday.
During his visit to Boeing Co. in St. Louis, he touted the benefits of tax cuts and said a “phase two” of tax overhauls is coming.
“It is wonderful to be back in this great state. This was about the first place I announced that we were going to be asking for massive tax cuts,” Trump said. “And everybody said it would never happen.”
Missouri Chamber of Commerce CEO Dan Mehan and representatives from 10 companies participated in a roundtable at the factory. Among them was College of the Ozarks President Jerry Davis. The college awarded bonuses to some employees earlier this year, citing tax reform changes.
