President Donald Trump announced Friday he'll meet with North Korean leader Kim Jong-un Feb. 27-28 in Hanoi, Vietnam.
"My representatives have just left North Korea after a very productive meeting and an agreed upon time and date for the second Summit with Kim Jong Un. It will take place in Hanoi, Vietnam, on February 27 & 28. I look forward to seeing Chairman Kim & advancing the cause of peace!" Trump wrote on Twitter.
In his recent State of the Union, Trump said he believed war would have broken out between the U.S. and North Korea if he hadn't been elected.
