President Donald Trump became the first sitting president to visit North Korea when he met yesterday with the isolated state’s leader, Kim Jong Un.
In their nearly one-hour private talk, they agreed to set up teams to discuss negotiations in North Korea’s nuclear program, according to Washington Post reporting. The bulk of the meeting was held in the demilitarized zone, but they did briefly cross into North Korea.
