President Donald Trump’s administration directed the Department of Health and Human Services to spend way less on advertisements for “Obamacare.”
The department will slash spend on sign-up advertising to $10 million fro 2018 coverage from $100 million this year.
“Judging effectiveness by the amount of money spent and not the results achieved is irresponsible and unhelpful to the American people,” said Caitlin Oakley, an HHS spokeswoman.
