Trump signs social media executive order

President Donald Trump yesterday signed an executive order targeting social media companies such as Twitter and Facebook.

Trump said he would pursue legislation in addition to the order to change the way social media companies are held liable for content posted to their websites.

The order came after Twitter began posting fact-checking labels on Trump's tweets. Additionally, Twitter yesterday hid a tweet by Trump for allegedly "glorifying violence" in a message aimed at looters at protests in Minneapolis.
