Trump signs order to 'vigorously promote religious liberty'

President Donald Trump on Thursday signed an executive order meant to allow churches and other religious organizations to become more active politically.

Under the order, the IRS is prohibited from taking "adverse action" against churches and other tax-exempt religious organizations that participate in political activities.

The order also provides "regulatory relief" for organizations that object to portions of the Affordable Care Act on religious grounds.
