President Donald Trump has selected Fox News host Jeanine Pirro as interim U.S. attorney for Washington, D.C.
Pirro previously served as a prosecutor and state judge in New York.
Trump dropped his previous pick for the role, Ed Martin, who had served as interim U.S. attorney but faced pushback from Democrats and some Republicans.
