President Donald Trump on Wednesday instituted a 90-day pause on recently announced tariffs impacting nations around the world.
Trump reportedly told members of the media that he reversed course because people were “yippy” and “afraid” due to stock market declines.
The pause came as Trump increased the tariff tax rate on Chinese imports to 125%.
