President Donald Trump has renewed his call for the Securities and Exchange Commission to loosen earnings report requirements for public companies.
Trump said in post on Truth Social that a switch to semiannual reports would "save money and allow managers to focus on properly running their companies."
Public companies have been required by the federal government to report earnings every three months since 1970.
