President Donald Trump on Saturday said he's planning to sign an executive order related to free speech at colleges and universities.
The order, he said, would penalize schools that do not protect the viewpoints of students of all political stances. Speaking at the Conservative Political Action Conference, he said schools that do no comply would put their federal aid at risk.
He referenced the case of Hayden Williams, a young activist who was beaten up at the University of California-Berkeley last month while recruiting for a conservative organization.
