President Donald Trump yesterday signed an executive order that pauses immigration to the United States for 60 days.
The measure is more limited than the sweeping closure he announced on Twitter earlier this week.
The order contains exceptions for immigrants who already are living and working in the United States and are seeking to become legal permanent residents. Other exceptions include spouses and underage children of U.S. citizens.
