Trump paid $38M in taxes in 2005

President Donald Trump paid $38 million in federal income taxes on reported income of $150 million in 2005, the White House confirmed.

The documents were made public on Rachel Maddow's MSNBC show. The White House is said to have responded without waiting for the show to air.

According to the documents, Trump wrote off $100 million in business losses to reduce his federal taxes in 2005.
