President Donald Trump on Sunday pledged not to back down on his demand for a wall at the Mexican border.
However, he offered a compromise to build it out of steel instead of concrete. Trump also threatened to declare a national emergency to build the wall.
Democrats have declined to approve the $5.6 billion Trump wants to curb illegal immigration.
