President Donald Trump nominated St. Louis attorney Matthew Schelp as a U.S. district judge for the eastern district of Missouri.
Schelp, a partner at Husch Blackwell in St. Louis, was selected to preside over a court where he once was an assistant U.S. attorney.
Schelp last year was among a team of attorneys who defended former Gov. Eric Greitens as he faced criminal investigations.
