President Donald Trump announced he'll name Joseph Maguire as the nation's top intelligence official.
Maguire is currently the director of the National Counterterrorism Center. He'll succeed the retiring Dan Coats.
Trump also announced the resignation of Sue Gordon, deputy director fo national intelligence. She'll step down on Aug. 15, the same day as Coats.
