President Donald Trump yesterday applauded the passage of what he called "the largest tax cut in the history of our country".
Trump is expected to sign the sweeping tax bill in the coming days.
"I promised the American people a big, beautiful tax cut for Christmas. With final passage of this legislation, that is exactly what they are getting," Trump said.
In the House revote, the bill passed 224-201 yesterday afternoon.
