Trump fires FBI director

President Donald Trump yesterday fired James Comey, the director of the FBI.

Comey had been leading an investigation into whether Trump's advisers colluded with the Russian government to impact the 2016 presidential election.

Officials with the White House did not detail the three occasions cited in the letter.
