President Donald Trump denied claims in a report by The New York Times that he avoided income taxes for years.
Citing tax information it obtained, The New York Times indicated Trump paid no income taxes in 10 of the previous 15 years. Further, the report stated Trump paid only $750 in federal income taxes during the year he won the presidency. During his first year in the White House, he paid another $750, according to the report.
Trump yesterday said the story was "totally fake news" and "made up."
