President Donald Trump is considering an executive order that would prohibit U.S. companies from purchasing equipment from China’s Huawei and ZTE.
Three sources familiar with the matter told Reuters the order is being considered for the new year.
The sources said the ban would stop the purchase of telecommunications equipment over national security concerns.
