President Donald Trump yesterday called on the Federal Reserve to cut rates by 1%.
Trump said if monetary policy in the U.S. was looser, the economy would “go up like a rocket.”
The comments came during the first day of the two-day Federal Open Market Committee meeting, during which the Fed is expected to keep rates flat.
