President Donald Trump yesterday called the $900 billion COVID-19 relief bill passed by Congress a "disgrace."
"I am asking Congress to amend this bill and increase the ridiculously low $600 to $2,000, or $4,000 for a couple," Trump said.
Democratic House Speaker Nancy Pelosi agreed with Trump's call for larger stimulus payments to individuals.
Trump did not threaten a veto of the legislation. It passed both chambers of Congress with veto-proof majorities.
