Trump asks Americans to wear masks in public

Saying the coronavirus pandemic "will get worse before it gets better," President Donald Trump on Tuesday urged all Americans to wear masks in public.

“We’re asking everybody when you’re not able to socially distance to wear a mask,” Trump said. "Whether you like masks or not, wear a mask.”

The comments were made during Trump's first official COVID-19 pandemic press briefing since April.
