President Donald Trump on Tuesday announced that his administration reached a deal with Pfizer on drug prices.
Pfizer intends to voluntarily sell its drugs at lower prices to Medicaid patients through the agreement, Trump said.
Trump said the deal includes a clause that Pfizer will sell some of its drugs on a new “direct to consumer” website called “TrumpRx." While the website will be operated by the federal government, few details were offered on how it would work.
