President Donald Trump and the federal coronavirus task force addressed the nation Monday, promising the county would soon return to normal.
Declining to offer a date, Trump said the United States will "soon be open for business — very soon." He said it would be weeks, not months, before that happens.
New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo earlier on Monday said his administration is working on a plan to get the state's residents back to work. He also did not disclose a time frame.
"At some point, you have to open the valve because this is not sustainable," he said.
