The Trump administration today is expected to announce a plan to cut federal food assistance, people familiar with the matter told Bloomberg.
The plan would end food stamps for around 750,000 people, a move that would save the federal government billions of dollars per year.
Trump administration officials want to make it so beneficiaries are required to work or participate in a vocational training program.
