The Trump administration plans to block "startup visas" approved under President Barack Obama.
Officially known as the International Entrepreneur Rule, the program would allow non-U.S. citizens who launched companies that won $100,000 in government grants or $250,000 in venture capital to stay in the country for a renewable 30-month term.
The rule is set to take effect July 17.
But now, the Trump administration is delaying the rule until next March pending review by the Department of Homeland Security.
