The Trump administration announced this week that it has loaned $1 billion to Constellation Energy Corp.
The funding is designed to help the company restart its nuclear reactor at a Pennsylvania plant formerly known as Three Mile Island.
Constellation signed a deal with Microsoft in 2024 to restart the reactor.
