President Donald Trump on Wednesday announced the federal government would roll back fuel economy standards put in place under the Biden administration.
Trump said the "ridiculously burdensome" requirements cause "all sorts of problems for automakers."
Corporate Average Fuel Economy rules require the entire fleet of vehicles sold by an automaker to get more fuel-efficient over time.
