The Trump administration has issued a clarification related to its $100,000 fee on H-1B visas for people who are already in the United States.
Recent international college graduates who are sponsored for H-1B status while in the United States will not be subject to the fee. The fee change also won't prevent current H-1B visa holders from leaving and entering the U.S., and foreign workers who request an amendment, change of status or stay extension won't be subject to the fee.
U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services additionally created an online portal where the $100,000 fee can be paid.
