The Trump administration is issuing new demands to states following a U.S. Supreme Court decision that stayed rulings related to the payment of SNAP benefits.
The administration is asking states to "undo" full SNAP benefits that were paid under recent judicial orders.
More than two dozen states have reportedly warned of “catastrophic operational disruptions” if they are not reimbursed for SNAP benefits that were authorized before the Supreme Court’s stay.
